You’ve been in American Literature for 4.5 weeks now. How has the class been going for you so far?

Prompt: American Literature has been kind of fun and challenging. I enjoy the class a lot because of the topics we discuss, the people, and how it's the last class of the day. The poems we have been reading are very interesting and easy to follow, which is a big factor for me. Because I can't pay attention for too long so its great that they are short and sweet. The class is somewhat easy now but I  definitely think it's going to get way harder. As long as I stay on top of my work I think the year will go smoothly. I have always liked ELA and this year isn't any different, I enjoy class a lot and look forward everyday. I think its going to be a great year.

Summary: I was out of class due to a doctors appointment.

Reflection: Try not to miss too much class because I missed a lot the day i was out.

In “The Interlopers” by Saki, Ulrich and Georg view each other as interlopers, outsiders intruding on their land and their lives. Think about a time when you felt like an interloper or when someone else felt out of place in your world. How did that situation affect relationships, emotions, or outcomes?

Everyone has burning questions about life. Mysteries we wonder about but don’t always have clear answers for. Think about your biggest questions about existence, purpose, or the world around you. Write a blog post where you share at least two of your most burning questions about life and explain why these questions matter to you.

Write about a time when you did something out of the norm. What was it and how did others react?
