Which aspect of creating a poem do you enjoy the most? Tell what it is and explain why.

 Prompt: My favorite aspect of creating a poem is rhyming words, it is very enjoyable to me. It makes me feel like a rapper or a DJ trying to come up with funny or serious words. I usually try to copy my favorite artists verses to help me and it actually helps a lot. So most of the time I listen to music or beats to try too boost my creative outlet. Whether is be country or rap beats I try to stay with the flow of the song and replicate it onto my poem. I also enjoy writing the poems, they are the easiest type of writing and I have the most fun with poems.

Summary: Today in class we started working on our own poems.

Reflection: I learned how to start a poem and create a metaphor.

 Prompt:  Border control is the system countries use to manage who enters and leaves their borders. One important issue is how to balance national security with treating migrants and refugees fairly. Research shows that strict border policies can sometimes prevent people in danger from finding safety. At the same time, governments argue they need strong control to protect their citizens and resources. I find this issue important because it involves both human rights and safety, which are often difficult to balance. Summary: Today in class we worked on our topic and did a worksheet. Reflection: I learned some new algebra concepts.

 Prompt-  Completing the annotated bibliography helped me understand my topic more clearly. My sources started to connect and show similar ideas. Some sources supported each other, while others added different views. This helped me see the main points I want to focus on. It is helping me build a stronger argument for my research paper.  Summary- i was out sick Reflection- I learned to drink more water when i’m sick.
