In “The Interlopers” by Saki, Ulrich and Georg view each other as interlopers, outsiders intruding on their land and their lives. Think about a time when you felt like an interloper or when someone else felt out of place in your world. How did that situation affect relationships, emotions, or outcomes?

Prompt: When I use to play baseball my friends and I always played with each other for our travel season. Their dads were the coaches and so was my dad. We played from about 7U to 12U together, we were basically family. Sadly eventually people started leaving and sooner or later we were all gone. So I had to go a real travel team, I tried out for this brand new program called Atlanta Fuego and I knew absolutely nobody. I felt so out of place and almost like I didn't belong there for a while. Then I kinda started to mingle with the new kids and coaches and I grew pretty fond of them a couple of months in. But it was very weird and hard for me to make it feel like home again.

Summary: Today in class we completed a common lit since Mr. Rease was out.

Reflection: I learned what the definition of Interloper was from the story "The Interlopers".
