Describe a real-life situation in which jealousy negatively affected a relationship you experienced.

Prompt: A time where jealousy negatively affected a relationship was between my brother and I. One time when I was 11 or 12 my brother and I got into a really big argument when we got a PlayStation 4 for Christmas. Our parents said it was for both of us, but between my brother and I we knew that meant war. So for on and off every hour we would switch back and forth. Then once he got back from football and tried to make me get off he flipped out. He was so jealous of me playing for three hours straight he turned to violence and brutally attacked me. Once my parents found out they grounded him from playing for a month and I walked away free. He would come down to watch me play and the jealousy in his eyes spoke volume. He was so mean to me after that for 2 months straight.

Summary: Today in class we started a group project on Cultural Context of the Native Americans

Reflection: I learned about the roles Native Americans had in their houses.

In “The Interlopers” by Saki, Ulrich and Georg view each other as interlopers, outsiders intruding on their land and their lives. Think about a time when you felt like an interloper or when someone else felt out of place in your world. How did that situation affect relationships, emotions, or outcomes?

Everyone has burning questions about life. Mysteries we wonder about but don’t always have clear answers for. Think about your biggest questions about existence, purpose, or the world around you. Write a blog post where you share at least two of your most burning questions about life and explain why these questions matter to you.

Write about a time when you did something out of the norm. What was it and how did others react?
