Write about a time when you did something out of the norm. What was it and how did others react?

Prompt: Something out of the norm that I have done is become a cowboys fan in the middle of Georgia. I became a cowboys fan when I was 6 years old my cousin and I were watching a game and I remember vividly Tony Romo was throwing bullets to Dez Bryant. Something about their connection was just something special, the way they could air it out on defenses amazed me. So when i came back from my cousins I told everyone that i was a cowboys fan and man they did not like me. I was bullied at school and home relentlessly because everyone in the world hates the cowboys apparently. Even though I was ridiculed by everyone and their mom, I never switched up on them. Through thick and thin. I will always support my Dallas Cowboys. Summary: Today in class we finished up our heart visual representations. Reflection: I learned to wear a jacket and close toed shoes when coming to 7th period.

Dickinson uses the metaphor of a funeral to describe her inner struggles. What metaphor would you use to describe your own mind

Prompt: I would describe my mind as a concert, because I'm always listening to music and always want to have fun in any situation. Probably a Treaty Oak Revival concert because they are my favorite band and I love all their songs. Its really the only music I listen to at the moment, when I went to their concert last year it was amazing. I truly though that this is what my mind would feel like if I was inside of it. But sometimes I feel like my mind could feel like a radio head song, or maybe even a motley Crue song. The point I'm trying to make is I have a lot of emotions and thoughts running through my mind all the time. So I cant really pick one. Summary: We read another Emily Dickinson poem and started our hearts visual representation paper. Reflection: I learned what Emily's poems were really about and how meaningful they were.

Write about an adventure you would like to go on.

Prompt: An adventure I would like to go on is a trip to the Bahamas, because I love the beach and their beaches look insane. Clear water, nice sandy coastlines, palm trees, and amazing food. It's been a dream of mine for a long time now to visit with all my friends and just have a good time. I would also like to explore the towns and local places they have to offer, it seems like a dream vacation for everyone but something about it just seems so nice and awesome. The food their I hear is top notch so I need to go see it for myself, everywhere online that posts about it loves it and I have to try it at some point in my life. Summary: Today in class we analyzed a poem from Emily Dickinson Reflection: I learned who Emily Dickinson was.

Describe something you will never fully understand.

Prompt: Something I will never fully understand is why Jerry Jones is allowed to make every single decision for The Dallas Cowboys franchise. There is no owner in the entire league who is involved with signing players, draft picks, and re-signing people. Maybe a little bit but he is basically thee General Manager, and he is always on his high horse about his preferences compared to others who actually try to win and not just have it your way or the high way. For one example Micah Parsons who is the best defensive player in the league, wants some money which is reasonable given he is the best. But Jerry refuses to pay him which is so stupid and I feel for all my fellow cowboy fans. Summary: We presented our Myth posters in class. Reflection: I learned the right times to talk and go to the bathroom while people are presenting.

Write about something that you wish you had more of.

Prompt: Something I wish I had more of is money, Even though money is the root of all evil it would be very nice to be a millionaire or billionaire. The first thing I would do is buy my parents a lake house, they have always wanted one and I want to provide for the people who took care of me my whole life. Then, I would probably go to a car dealership and get a Hellcat with 1,000 horsepower as my daily driver,; then a TRX to have some fun with. I would also get some new clothes, new phone, and a Mac Book. It would truly change my family and I's life completely. So hopefully one day that dream will become reality. Sumary: Today we worked on Turing in and finishing our story posters. Reflection: Today I finally learned how to make an AI image and put a picture into a blog post.

What is the most creative thing you have ever made? Share what it was and explain why it stands out as your best work.

Prompt:  The most creative thing I have ever made was probably my 4 page collage of all my favorite things in the world. It was wright when COVID started so I had to find something to keep me busy, I start drawing and I'm alright. Definitely not good but not bad, I had the idea to create a 4 paper taped together of a mashup of video game characters, NFL players, movie characters, and my favorite songs. It took me about 2 weeks to get the outline done then another week to finish coloring. But when it was done I was so proud of myself, and didn't let anyone hold it and basically treated it as my child. I never wanted anyone to see it because I was kind of embarrassed of it but once I was comfortable showing people I soon loved it. Summary: Today we started our virtual poster for you native American myth. Reflection: I learned how to use the adobe platform, and how to format my story.

Everyone has burning questions about life. Mysteries we wonder about but don’t always have clear answers for. Think about your biggest questions about existence, purpose, or the world around you. Write a blog post where you share at least two of your most burning questions about life and explain why these questions matter to you.

Prompt: A burning question that has me wondering about life is what is in Area 51, I've heard so many crazy story's and theory's on what other people think. But I just have no clue what could be in there, aliens or maybe even space ships? We might never know the answer to that one but hopefully one day we will. Another burning question I have about life is what happens when you die. I believe in God, and I know heaven is a real place, i am just very interested in seeing what it is actually like. I believe it's  a happy place where you get to see loved ones, friends, and people you've missed that have passed. But no one can ever answer this question until you yourself die and experience what goes beyond after you pass. Summary: Today we planned our origin myth out on writable. Reflection: I learned how to plan a story step by step, also how to work on the writable platform.

Describe a time you felt completely lost.

Prompt: A time I have felt completely lost was my first day of high school because, I had zero clue where any of my classes were. I would just wonder about the halls asking people I knew where my classes were located. But to mess with me they told me the complete opposite of where the classes actually were. So I went to where they told me and I would walk into the class. After the teacher never called my name I had to leave and go to the front office so someone could walk me to where I was supposed to be, and I would go to the office before every class the first day so an AP or Dr. Stoddard would walk me there. I felt very embarrassed but at the same time I would never miss class or be late. Summary: Everyone presented their projects. Reflection: I learned the right way to present, by facing towards the crowd and looking at them. Not just reading off like a robot.

Analyze how you’ve adapted to the demands of this course over the past week, and evaluate one strength and one challenge you anticipate as we progress, justifying your insights with personal examples.

Prompt: I think one way I have adapted to this course is understanding when to do my work, these blog posts have helped me a lot with doing my work the day they are assigned. One strength I think I will gain from this course is my writing skills and doing my work on time. Because all these Blog posts coming up will surely add up and help build me to become and better writer. But one challenge I anticipate coming is reading books. I've never really been a big book reader, it's hard to follow, remember, and fit in time to read it, last year we were reading a book called "That Was Then This is Now'. After I read half of it we went on break, and I completely forgot what happened. I ended up failing the quiz and I got grounded. So hopefully I will be better at understanding the books we read this year. Summary: Today we took a quiz on Native American Myths. Reflection: I learned how to take a multiple choice test by eliminating the wrong answers one by one.

Describe a real-life situation in which jealousy negatively affected a relationship you experienced.

Prompt: A time where jealousy negatively affected a relationship was between my brother and I. One time when I was 11 or 12 my brother and I got into a really big argument when we got a PlayStation 4 for Christmas. Our parents said it was for both of us, but between my brother and I we knew that meant war. So for on and off every hour we would switch back and forth. Then once he got back from football and tried to make me get off he flipped out. He was so jealous of me playing for three hours straight he turned to violence and brutally attacked me. Once my parents found out they grounded him from playing for a month and I walked away free. He would come down to watch me play and the jealousy in his eyes spoke volume. He was so mean to me after that for 2 months straight. Summary: Today in class we started a group project on Cultural Context of the Native Americans Reflection: I learned about the roles Native Americans had in their houses.

Write about a meaningful object or place in your life that carries a story.

Prompt: A place in my life that carries a story is Athens, Georgia. I have been to every single Georgia Football home game since I was 3 years old. My entire family went to UGA including my brother who goes there now, we practically live up there. We own some properties and rent them out every now and then. It carries a special place in my heart because of the traditions, the people, and the atmosphere. It is truly the greatest place to live as a college student and my dream is to attend UGA. Summary: We read the Navajo creation myth Reflection: I learned the Navajo was kind of similar to Christianity.

Write about a time you felt connected to nature, like the kinship in Native American myths.

Prompt Response: A time I felt like i connected to nature is when I went camping with my family. We went to The Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest, I was very excited to go because we got to hunt for our food. My brother killed a Buck and I got a Turkey, after skinning and deboning the animals we were able to roast them over a fire. It was an amazing experience and I loved every second of it. I related it to Native Americans by the fact they had hunters and gathers, my brother and I were the hunters and my mom was the gatherer and cooked the Deer and Turkey for us. Even though we killed some animals i still felt very connected to the environment around me, almost as if it was my calling to be a Game Warden or work in some industry in the Forrest. Summary: Today we took notes on Native American literature. Reflection: I learned what the definition of Myth was and, What the Native American Literature was all about. How they passed their stories down from generation to generation orally...
