Prompt: After two weeks of studying rhetorical devices, types of rhetoric, and methods for identifying rhetorical techniques, which rhetorical device do you find most effective or compelling, and why?

Prompt: A rhetorical question is a great tool. It makes the reader stop and think. You do not need to give an answer. This makes the point feel very strong. Is there any better way to start a conversation? Especially if someone is being mentally slow. Summary: I was absent in Athens. Reflection: I learned I need to keep my work more organized.

Prompt: Choose a vocabulary word that resonates with you personally. Write a blog post explaining why this word is significant to you, including any personal memories or experiences that link you to the word.

 Prompt: The word gibberish is very special to me. When I was little, my friends and I spoke in silly sounds. We laughed a lot, even though no one else understood us. It reminds me that having fun is more important than using real words. Gibberish is the sound of pure happiness. Summary: I was absent from class today. Reflection I learned i need to get lower on my squats.

 Prompt: I decided to stop watching Georgia football for a while because the tough losses were too stressful. I felt tired of seeing the team get so close to a trophy only to lose at the end. Taking a break helped me focus on my own life and stay more relaxed on weekends. Eventually, I started watching again when the team’s energy began to change for the better. Now, I enjoy the games more because I don’t let the results bother me as much. I have 2 National championships, so I feel accomplished. Summary: Today in class we read that notebook and learned what words mean. Reflection: I learned how to do the edges of my lawn.

  1. My goal for the year is to make the Lakeside Golf team .
